Hello everyone! Spring break is here! You know what that means... my long awaited (and much needed) Charleston trip! I look forward to going to Charleston whether it's for a short weekend in October or two weeks in July. Charleston is my favorite place. Since I visit Charleston so often, I thought it would be nice to put together a travel guide for anyone who is planning a trip there or just wants a little taste of Charleston! I wrote a guide type post about Charleston a while ago, but I wanted to update it I really wanted this to be a helpful post and showcase the true beauty of Charleston!
This is a linkup hosted by the lovely Olivia, so be sure to check out all the other posts here!
1. Shopping:
Number one on my list would have to be shopping. Of course. So here is my favorite places to visit...
Downtown Charleston: Hit your favorite stores like Vineyard Vines, J Crew, Lilly Pulitzer, etc. It tends to be a little busy so I like to get there around 9:45 and get some Starbucks because the shops tend to open up around 10:00
2. Food:
Trying to figure out what restaurant to try is SO difficult in Charleston! Literally any place would be great to eat at honestly. Here are my favorites...
Poogan's Porch: For yummy southern food in an old house! (try the fried alligator tail and mac and cheese!)
Magnolias: For an upscale lunch or dinner! (you might want to make reservations)
High Thyme: For a trendy yet quaint meal on Sullivan's Island! (definitely make reservations)
Old Village Post Office: For a super yummy brunch!
Poe's Tavern: For a casual meal after going to the beach!
3. Beach:
We always go to Sullivan's Island and it is the best beach to go to (in my opinion)!
There are SO many other wonderful things to do in Charleston, but I listed my top favorites!
